 Born in Puerto Rico, Nácar relocated to New York City, where she found the perfect way to combine her art with a love for helping people feel their best. After advanced training with L’Oréal, Redken, Vidal Sassoon, and Wella, she became an American Board Certified Colorist in 2013. Since then, she has traveled the world to continue refining her craft, working backstage at NYFW and NYFW:M, with her work shown in magazines internationally.

Nácar specializes in healthy blonde hair color, natural-looking highlights for brunettes, updated classic cuts, texture treatments, and tape-in extensions. A career spanning multiple zip codes, she has built long-lasting relationships with her clients. With honest recommendations and personalized hair care regimens, she has developed a truly unique approach to styling and color. It’s not just about technique, it’s about a deep understanding of maintenance, getting to know you and creating looks that are intentional. 

In 2020, Nácar opened The Studio NR in New York City, creating a destination for truly personalized hair services.
